Structure-Tectonics  - 
 
I grew up about three miles north of the recent M5.1 La Habra, CA earthquake. I spent a lot of my youth hiking around the little pocket wilderness of the Puente Hills.  The quake is believed to have occurred on the Puente Hills Blind Thrust Fault, a fault not known or studied until the last 20 years or so.
