Robin Williams on the ABC Science show on July 18 2015 reviews my work on passwords. We agree! Usability matters.
The passwords we use for our banking and email are increasingly important, and hackers are finding passwords easier to access.

Performance, not the person, should be the focus of online evaluation.
Randomization and anonymity during grading is structurally easier to implement in the digital domain! How could something that provides such basic, structural fairness be so widely ignored?
Performance, not the person, should be the focus of online evaluation.

"Lowe’s announced on Thursday that over the next four years it will phase out products containing neonicotinoids — pesticides that have been linked to the massive decline in honeybees around the world in recent years." ... like flowers? Fond of the continued existence of our food supply? Shop Lowes. Otherwise the  (organicly produced at your local farmers' market) flowers you buy with literally kill bees. Lowes is the ONLY STORE that has made the commitment.

How firm is the science making the connection and how recently has this been established?

Please help Wanda Wanda Reder get on the ballot as  a candidate for IEEE President. Even if you donot vote for her, it is good to have her as a choice. I am very impressed with her investment in future workforce, including the creation of a scholarship-only capitol campaign.    She is just shy of the required signatures and there is a May 8th deadline.
Go to ieee.org then /about/corporate/election/election_petition.html

"The word “relentless” doesn’t begin to explain this Bush. I’ve yet to encounter any other politician as smart, as driven, as self-disciplined, as organized," Well, Hillary Clinton is incredibly self-disciplined and organized. She was not raised by a families with generations of trust funds and oil money. She has worked harder and is smarter. And called vile names and subject to constant abuse by the press.
By the end, Jeb Bush thought I was a jerk. Also that I was the least fair journalist in all of Tallahassee. I only did “hit” pieces designed to “screw” him, he wrote an economist who had talked to me about Bush’s crackdown on gasoline price-gouging. And no, Bush emailed me, he absolutely would not be interviewed for the...

I had this company move the selected contents of a house across town. They quit early on Friday, saying they were done. I went back to check, and the movers offered to come back Saturday. This was quite early in the afternoon. Then they came back Saturday and I was charged double time for overtime; although I complained shortly after they left Friday. Then they refused to move anything upstairs. They laughed and said if they moved the furniture upstairs it would tear up the furniture and damage the house. I had to get the contractors (Toby Sullivan) to move the pieces, pretty much anything at all large, upstairs. They moved it up carefully and never touched the walls. They were dishonest and destructive. The packing crew was great. I would hire the packing crew. But the movers and the manager were horrible.

SLC rebuilt my deck in Elm Heights. It was is very bad shape. They were not paid for design services. However, once one of the rails was down the difference was so visible, they altered the deck style. The work was careful, timely, and very well done. This even despite the fact that the weather was terrible during the reconstruction. Because of the quality of the work I also hired them to replace the (horrible, stained, and tearing) aluminum siding on my house. They were on time. The work was again excellent. I am happy to recommend them. These were big jobs. I am pleased that I hired Straight Line.

I have rented a wide variety of materials from this place; having bought a serious project house as well as having some professional parties. These staff are always affordable, reliable and helpful. They have stayed open ten extra minutes, delivered no-delivery items, and let me pay upon return because it was to late the cash register was closed. They are patient and helpful. The party rental place is fine, no complaints and no issue. I have never asked them to go the extra mile, so I do not know if they would. I rely on them without any concern what so ever.

The only wireless is in the hotel lobby. The breakfast is consistently inedible. Go ahead and eat the tiny cardboard box, it is as good as the food inside. It is clean and the location is not terrible.

They were reliable and courteous. They delivered a lift chair to the hotel when we were staying for the week. The delivery was a scheduled and all of the delivery people refused tips. That chair made an immense difference in the recovery. That they were easy to work with and reliable was very important in a time of stress and recovery.

The did no maintenance. They kept a record of all that is broken and charged me when I moved out for everything they had failed to prepare. My apartment was robbed. The police when taking the report says it happens all the time. People are often waved in, or claim to be handing out delivery flyers. There were delivery flyers at the door every week, meaning there is not building security. They tow the tenants if you park "over the line", in my case meaning my small PT Cruiser had touched the inside of the paint of the line. Who judges if you are over the line'? The towing company! And you have no appeal, it is $115 a pop. So basically they have sold the right to steal and damage your greatest asset for a kickback from the towing company. The practices of the management are predatory. You will be towed. Your guests will be towed. And the towing place personnel are foul-mouthed and ill-mannered. Truly this is a place to avoid. The location is good, but believe me it is worth walking past this place to the subway ten times a day to avoid it.

These guys are extremely knowledgeable and reliable. I live in Bloomington. It is more than worth the drive to get a fireplace. The installation in exactly on time and professional. They completed work under budget and on time. They treated my house like a house and not some work site. They took due care for guests not just due care for contractors.
