A great piece in the Creative Review about the Inventors! project we took part in with Cultural Spring and Dominic Wilcox.

Over the last few months the FabLab team has been working with Cultural Spring and Dominic Wilcox on the Inventors! project. Children were encouraged to draw their own invention ideas and local makers and manufacturers selected a few of them to make into real objects and prototypes. The FabLab team carefully crafted four of the exhibits using a mixture of old technologies with contemporary techniques such as laser cutting and 3D printing. Here's an overview of the Inventors! exhibition.
