The Gregory Brothers (and co) have excelled themselves with the green screening on this one - can't see the join between songified reality and Schmoyoho!

Driving home from Dunstable, I wasn't expecting to drive down a river...

Blimey that's a river not a road! Glad to see you drove down the middle of the river, err road, be safe.

I've just moved over to Windows Phone 8 (and actually it's pretty good.. just doesn't have the application support - yet!) I miss any.do - any chance of a port?

Quite enjoying this rather simple but tantalising game: http://gameaboutsquares.com/

Wow.. that was a nasty fire.. and SO close to the exit... how frustrating! What camera do you use? Really great detail (especially at 10:17 when you check to the right.. ;)

Sir James, thank you for your comment. Frustrating, but also interesting; I learned a little about fire-fighting. The camera is a Drift Ghost HD. I tried a GoPro, but it's like a big fat airbrick trying to pull one's head off, when travelling at speed.

Our nearest café to home, but that's not the only reason we like to come here - the food is consistently delicious (they do some of the tastiest breakfasts I've ever had) and the staff are friendly. It's a bit off the beaten track, but still fairly easy to get to from Luton airport, with parking at the front of the small parade of shops. We've been here for breakfast and lunch on many occasions, and there are always plenty of other folk in the café - a sure sign it's a regular choice for the locals.

I was made very welcome when I arrived, and it was clear that this was a place where the customer was valued. The food was wonderful - a delicious burger, made with local ingredients and served with a side of real ale chutney that made it perfect. If you're after some truly excellent British food (they do lamb, chicken and vegetable burgers, too) this is the place to go. It's worth reserving if you can. I was full after the very reasonably priced main meal, so didn't go for dessert...

We had our family pre-Christmas meal here; the service was very friendly, the food was tasty and hearty and we felt unhurried and well looked-after. It's a good place to go with the family.

The Box Tree is a small, unassuming café just off the main shopping centre of Bexhill, towards Egerton Park. The service was friendly - Richie, who served us, was attentive and good-humoured, and the food was simple but freshly prepared. I had fish and chips; the BLT was generous and the children's chicken nuggets were devoured. I feel perhaps we missed out on the specials, though - the sausage and onion pie was tempting. When we visited (about 1pm on the second sunny Saturday in September) there were very few other patrons, but in high season I think it may be much busier; they do take bookings. Overall, a pleasant place to have lunch on a day trip to the seaside.

We visited the Luton Toby Carvery for the first time this week and were really pleased with our experience. The staff were friendly and the food was first rate, with four roasts and a wide variety of hot, tasty vegetables. It's a real hidden gem in Luton town centre (and a good alternative to the rather unpleasant Galaxy Centre), and a great place to bring the family for a civilised, hearty meal. A voucher for two two-course meals for £12.50 can be claimed by joining their email list - making it even better value!

A splendid place for lunch - the food's fresh and tasty; quality Lebanese cuisine, and the welcome is friendly. I would definitely recommend it if you're near Watford Junction station and want a bite to eat.

Spacious and comfortable! For our stay we booked a family room - it was of a very reasonable size and the beds had been made ready for our arrival. The staff were friendly and we had a great stay... and yes, we took advantage of the £29 deal. Bargain! The hotel looks really well-looked after and the room was tidy and modern. We'll definitely stay here again if we're up this way :) (Oh and breakfast at the Beefeater Merry Monk was wonderful... definitely worth the trip!)
