After seeing a piece of Shakespeare on the Subway I have a question: Could you do that without hamming it up? When one performs Shakespeare in a public place (such as a subway car) does it require a certain "sending it up" to make it accessible and enjoyable?
At The Shakespeare Forum we make a home for actors, directors and lovers of Shakespeare to play, share, develop, and flourish. A community of artists dedicated to helping each other thrive while breaking the habits of isolationism which so often prevail in our artistic community. We believe that together we can be a powerful force and The Shakespeare Forum strives to provide its members with the tools to conquer this city, both as conscious artists and as parts of a greater artistic alliance.
