i have been restoring a '72 triumph trident 750 and didn't want to tackle the jigsaw puzzle that my front forks looked to be as it required special tools that i didn't have and under it all, a great big set of springs. mike worked through it for me and went above and beyond to make it work. without their expertise, my project would not be on the road today...maybe tomorrow, but definitely not today. great staff all around. thanks guys!

They didn't screw my car up, but they didn't even come close to fixing it, and they drained my newly filled Redline gearbox oil without first asking me what kind of oil I wanted to use. Pro tip: people who own Alfas care about what oil is in their gearboxes - you can upsell them. If they had asked, I would have told them not to do that, but they didn't ask, went ahead and drained it, and then replaced it with ordinary Shell or whatever. My Spica equipped car was not running right, and they had no clue what was wrong with it. Turned out to be the Spica injectors, but that was diagnosed by another mechanic, Harry Riley. Oh yeah, there was some nonsense about the steering rack that I don't remember the specifics of, but that turned out to be incorrect analyses by them. Bottom line: I'd take an Alfa there in an emergency, but I would micromanage the repair job and double check anything and everything they proposed to do *before* they did it. Hey, at least now I know where to get my Triumph fixed if I ever get one... :)
