Food is great, but they will fight you tooth and nail to not honor their groupon deals. Was denied twice and finally got the chance to use it after being denied a third time and arguing it. They offer happy hour every day, but at different times and the menus are misleading about it. We left very confused about the whole situation. I would recommend the happy hour, call ahead to find out when it is that day, but don't buy a Groupon.

Pros: Food Chef Ambiance Cons: Servers Prices The food is great, primarily their fried rice and vegetables. The seafood is ok, they cook it well, it's just the quality they buy is only average, though I would blame this on a corporate level not directly this location. The Hibachi chefs are amazing. They are very engaging and a lot of fun. The waiter and waitress there are pitiful though! We have had both and they are the main reasons we do not eat there as often. The female is worse because she is non-existent. The male has the personality of a dead fish and is actually downright rude trying to rush you out as soon as the food is placed in front of you. He actually knows us quite well from over the years and still treats us this way. We mostly visit now because we like Mark a lot as a chef, we know the one manager, and my mom requests this place every holiday and birthday. They also did recently raise the prices to a ridiculous amount so it is really only worth going if you have a coupon. Oh and be warned if you are a light eater the food does not reheat well and even though there is no written age restriction they will not allow you to order a kids meal without speaking with a manager.

. He is the best. The new menu is costly. I really like this place but only go when we have $15 off.

I dinned here the other night for the first time after going to Target with my husband and two daughters. I waited about 2 minutes before being acknowledged because the hostesses were too busy with their personal conversations. I was seated with my family and they made us sit all the way on the side of the table. When I asked if I could sit in front of the chef, she said no other people will sit there. There was absolutely nobody in the restaurant to sit there! Our server comes out promptly but seemed like he wasn't very experienced because he didn't know anything about the entrees when I had questions to be answered. The apple martini was delicious but was almost 10 dollars! The chef put on an okay show, very friendly, I've seen better at Bonzai and A1 Japanese steakhouse. The food is good but way overpriced, especially in this kind of economy- 2.99 extra for fried rice? Ended up being over 12 bucks in just rice, should have just brought someone else along and forgot the fried rice all together. Everything in general is jacked up about 5 bucks from bar drinks to sushi. The manager checked in on our table which was nice, but I was not about to express my concerns for this business. I clearly will not be returning. If they lowered their prices and hired a whole new staff they could possibly do well.

Went here because of a Groupon deal I purchased. I lost out on 15 bucks that I paid for the deal but that's better than the more than 50 I would've spent at this place. The food was HORRIBLE!! It was bland...and it didn't even look appetizing. Oh...and the world famous fried rice....patooey! So disappointed with place. Would definitely not recommend this place.

I took my children there for dinner last night and it wasn't bad. They have a special for children on Sunday and Mondays- children under 10 eat free with an adult meal (but be aware, it doesn't include a drink and drinks are about $2.50 for kids). Because we have food allergies, we spoke to the manager ahead of time and he was somewhat helpful. But the chef for our grill was great, he cooked my son's steak before everyone's friend rice so that he could eat since he is allergic to egg and they use eggs for the friend rice. For my other child who is also allergic to dairy, they offered to cook his food in the back since they couldn't accommodate for this request (they use a lot of butter to cook the meals on the hibachi). Anyway, the chef was great. As for the service, it wasn't great. After our waitress brought our drinks we never saw her again until the end and the manager had to give us our refills and it was the bus lady that brought our dessert and to-go boxes. As it is for most Hibachi's, the meat is bland unless you dip it, otherwise it was very good. The California rolls were good, but the rest of the sushi (my younger son ordered sushi) was average and not worth ordering. Overall, it was good and the experience was ok. We will definitely be back with a larger group so we can have our own grill and have it be egg and dairy free so both children can safely eat.

This place is a great example of a not-ready-for-prime-time staff. The maitre-D acted like he just walked in off the street and was not sure what he was supposed to do. Although we called ahead and notified that this was a birthday dinner, they initially split our party of eight across 2 tables. They did move us to a better table (after we requested a re-seat), but forgot to bring out the cake and do the birthday thing for my daughter (I reminded them half-way thru our meal). The manager was nice, but also seemed a bit clueless. The waitstaff was completely overwhelmed, even though it was a Monday night, and half empty. However, the food was very good, arguably better than A-1 steakhouse just down the road. If they can get their act together, this could be a good place to eat. As it is now, the service is bad enough that I would not go back.
