Service was friendly & quick. Didn't care for the cheesy bread since it was just italian bread toasted with mozzarella cheese. Its not sticks like most places. The pizza was good but it was greaser than the other chains I had been to.

Awesome! It is a corporate run store that has some of the best store created pizza selection I have ever seen.

Terrible service, after the server got our drink and appetizer order we were ignored even as we got up and left 30 minutes later, no appetizers in sight!! Ridiculous, no amount of good food will make me come back to this restaurant.

Once out-of-town friends are introduced to The Mellow Mushroom they will rarely let us take them anywhere else. One of my friends orders extra pizza to take home with him and freezes it. There's pizza, hummus, salads, sandwiches and other concoctions. They also have a reasonably extensive beer list with small brewery offerings; along with the pedestrian excuses that pretend to be beer. Out of the dozens (and dozens) of times I have eaten here there was only one time I would say the food was less than very good. I've never had anything I would call "bad" --- and I like to complain. This is good stuff. The atmosphere is strictly utilitarian - but kind of psychodelic with little mushroom men sitting around and mushroom sculpture growing through the bar and ... well, you've just got to see it to understand. Led Zeppelin is likely to be playing in the background (never at an annoying volume in my experience). Going "extremely casual" is the norm. You will be paying more than you would at a large-chain pizza joint for a "large", but you can feed nearly twice as many people from a "large," too.
