Today is World Health Day (April 7, 2016) and you are invited to come and celebrate with the Alabama NAACP Health Committee at The Vault (1920- 3rd Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203) from 5-7pm.

Come learn about Project HELP (Healthy Eating Lifestyles and Physical Activity) as we give away 500 vegetable plants, pedometers to encourage people to take 10,000 steps daily, and get a food bus into food deserts within Jefferson County. We are looking for sponsors, partnerships, donors, and volunteers!

Check out our Facebook page Alabama NAACP Health Committee and like our page. You will find out more about Project HELP by checking our Facebook page often about workshops, challenges, cook-offs! Bring a friend, share the flyer with a friend and post the flyer on your Facebook page, Instagram page, and twitter! I've also included a sponsorship letter for your review, please present them to organizations in which you belong, your church, your company, friends and family. Don't hesitate to contact me for additional information about the sponsorships and/or how you can get involved! It indeed takes a village!

#HealthyLiving #ItsYourBody #TimeForAChange

We hope to see you this evening at The Vault! It's a free event but we are asking for donations for Project HELP!

TKay's Collection is about a woman on a mission to educate the public about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and bring more awareness to the disease.  I also like to take everyday situations and use them motivate and inspire others.
