FORGET eating po boys. You should just come to Dat Dog and call it a day. Ben and I came here during a UF and South Carolina game and you really get that southern college football team spirit. Everyone was cheering and singing when UF won. Ben and I ordered the turducken sausage and the alligator all with chef choice's toppings. They were both so friggin tasty. I actually prefered the alligator sausage, but thought the toppings on the turducken hot dog was better because the ingredients tasted fresher and not as heavy. We also got the white trash fries which were friggin AMAZING. You have to also get it because all the best thing sin the world (guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, cheese, chili i think) are all on it.

Interesting selection of house made sausages and "dogs", fun bartenders and a decent beer and cocktail selection. Came out full every time after just one dog.

Good environment and food. Cash only business, which is absolutely ridiculous. Touchscreen point of sale, big screen TVs everywhere, how can you not take credit cards. The tip I had for the cashier went into the atm. Hope they share. Bartenders are rude and ignore you.

Great new hot dog concept that has been a real hit on the Freret St food scene. This spot is a cool place to grab a beer and one of their many signature hot dogs or sausages. Lots of fun toppings to adorn your dog and don't forget the fries. The fries are large and come with many different toppings as well. Great place for kids and lots of outdoor seating. They've opened 2 new locations in the last year!!!
