Great! Thanks to +Scott Hanselman mentioning it in his most recent podcast conversation (with Jason Scott from the Internet Archive), that'll be my weekend wasted!

I have a sneaking suspicion this one will resonate with my parents!

I'm mainly posting this so I can find it again this evening. Too many distractions to read it properly now. ;-)

Hadn't encountered Captain Disillusion before. I can see I'll have to watch some more of the videos from this feed. I strongly suspect Miss M will enjoy them.

Groan! Not quite a German sausage pun (which are the wurst) but pretty close.

While I didn't find it especially surprising, I did find this episode of Hidden Brain fascinating. Even scientists (who should know better) have fallen into the trap of confirmation bias and chosen not to replicate studies (where the conclusion has eventually become accepted as fact), and when they do attempt to reproduce the research the results are sometimes not as clear cut as might be expected.

M has recently started listening to this podcast. It's a bit dark, but if you enjoy radio comedy with a British flavor and haven't already encountered it, you might want to give the first episode a try.

Most of my friends from the UK have already seen this (either on TV, or via social media), but for those elsewhere in the world that this may have passed by, this is one of three animations created by Aardman (of Wallace & Grommit, Creature Comforts, Morph etc. fame) to commemorate David Attenborough's 90th birthday yesterday. If you enjoy it, the others are worth your time too.
