Excellent no-fuss fried seafood and bar food. I've had their meat pies, Jambalaya Fries, and Fried Catfish. Everything was great and the price is fair. Also, the fried catfish was probably the best fried catfish I've had anywhere in the city.

Excellent Diner Food. I went for breakfast before Jazz Fest and had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. It came with an awesome biscuit, and the gravy was phenomenal. I also ordered a side of grits and a pancake. Both side items were equally good. My wife had a great Bloody Mary and I had a mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice. Excellent on all counts. Will definitely return.

Recently the food here has become exceptionally good. The drink prices are about normal and what you would expect for a bar in this spot of the Quarter.

Excellent neighborhood movie theater. Usually pretty clean and there is a larger screen and better sound equipment than you might expect to find in a a smaller, older theater.

Friendly staff and good service. Food is better than decent, and the drinks are good. Good place to stop on a bike ride to or from City Park.

I have been multiple times for both Dinner and Brunch. Brunch is probably my favorite time to go due to the finely stocked Do It Yourself Bloody Mary Bar and the Jazz Quartet. Dinners are also nice because it is set inside a quaint and cozy Creole Cottage and the ambiance at dinner is comfortable and welcoming. The service has also always been great. Good food + good atmosphere = Great place to eat.
