In one of the most important contests in their history, the Bears turned a sloppy start into another blowout in which they passed and ran and scored at will.

As instructed, Baylor’s fans showed up wearing black. For a while, it appeared as though they might have come dressed for a funeral, mourning the death of the Bears’ undefeated season.

Friendly staff and good service. Food is better than decent, and the drinks are good. Good place to stop on a bike ride to or from City Park.

Recently the food here has become exceptionally good. The drink prices are about normal and what you would expect for a bar in this spot of the Quarter.

Excellent neighborhood movie theater. Usually pretty clean and there is a larger screen and better sound equipment than you might expect to find in a a smaller, older theater.

I've been several times now and have not been disappointed. They have above average Pho and spring rolls. Their menu is a bit conservative (i.e., less risky) when compared to places like Ba Chi Canteen and Magasin, but their quality is equal if not greater. They serve large portions for Pho and their appetizers are also fairly portioned. The interior is plain, but comfortable and casual. You can also eat outside on porch.

I have been multiple times for both Dinner and Brunch. Brunch is probably my favorite time to go due to the finely stocked Do It Yourself Bloody Mary Bar and the Jazz Quartet. Dinners are also nice because it is set inside a quaint and cozy Creole Cottage and the ambiance at dinner is comfortable and welcoming. The service has also always been great. Good food + good atmosphere = Great place to eat.

Again, this is one of those situations where I'd give it 4.5 stars if possible. For a small, cozy breakfast spot it is great and deserves an 'A' rating. I ordered the Omelette du Jour and the Aebelskivers (little puffed Crepes). Both orders were excellent and the service was great. I'm getting hungry again at the thought of them. Can't wait for my next visit....
