Gezellig~ we stumbled upon it. like no other pub you'll visit. highly recommend it wuth one caveat. make sure you know the price of what bottle you're drinking first. he'll have this or that and suggest replacements and if you accept, there's no menu. tab shock is likely. but it's not enough to keep me away later tonight before taking the train out of town. not far up the lane from gravensteen castle.

Small cafe with good coffee. Laid back, friendly, even bustling on the late Monday morning we stopped in to read with a drink. Easy to miss with larger bars next-door and off the popular square on Kapelle Str. If you're looking for more cafe than bar or large tea room, stop here. (Very good coffee~)

Wonderful green curry at LeeLawaDee. Spicy and rich. Nice staff. Very casual. Coffee w/ Thai whisky was good, too.

inexpensive stay for the quality. well executed concept, too. with deco things can get tacky quick. hostel deco is warm dark wood and green walls. not at all tacky. the private double rooms are ensuite and worth it. excellent common areas. good kitchen. great staff. peaceful environment. great house rules to keep the peace but invite communal living. free load of laundry, 3-5kg, for each reservation was especially nice. after 8 days backpacking, it was nice to get clean. reviewers complain about location, but it's a twenty minute walk to Reynek Glowny. nothing to complain about. the walk is full of restaurants, shops, cafes, and typical Krakow architecture. very close to trams, as well.
