I have cycled in London. And I have cycled the "danger road" the article refers to, a few years a go. I chose to go over the flyover at Bow. It was not a pleasant experience and I take my hat off to the cyclists that do it every day. I have also cycled in Paris last year and, frankly, felt safer there. Politics aside, Ken Livingstone had clear ideas and executed them on transport issues. Boris, affable and charming though he is, has been found wanting. He needs to pull his finger out on this cycling vision. Whilst he blusters, a queue of waiting coroners vans has formed.
