The bad experience started with the welcome email from Hertz announcing that the car was ready and it is located at 884 spot. I am a Gold Plus Rewards President's Circle but every time that I return to the LAX location they sent me to the extremes of the parking lot to get the car. Needless to say that I go straight to the Golden Choice where I can get the car without hauling my luggage around the parking lot. The sad part is that there are not too many choices; many cars but just a few brands to choose from. Then, there are cars there with extra cost with things that will be offered free at any time on a regular pickup. Heading to the exit is another ordeal :0( this time all the booths were close except one, imagine the long line. Then the agent cannot find the reservation even if I am showing the email sent to me by hertz; they always say there is nothing they can do with my information. Instead of just get there pick a car and go in a matter of minutes, as has been advertised; it took me more than 30 minutes to start driving home.
