This place is very much stuck in the 80's. Hamburgers seemed to be frozen, and the prices are on the high side. However the view was great.

Even if the food wasn't outstanding, the view alone would make this a worth trying restaurant. It may be a little off the beaten path, but its worth the 2 minute drive off 117 and 495 to have the view overlooking the Nashoba Valley, and Wachusett Mountain. The sunsets here are incredible! I love this place for a nice sit down meal with great service, or some quick apps at the bar. They do a crispy thin crust with loads of gourmet toppings, that is the best artisan style pizza I've ever had, hands down. I love the fact they do the whole farm to table thing at a very reasonable price. Their small plate menu, and salads are soo good, I try something new every time I've been. I would highly suggest that you visit the website before you pick the night that you go here, they always have some kind of special prixe fix menu, or promo that are the best deals.

Food was delicious! We were a party of 4 all had different entrees and not a drop of food was left on anyone's plate. Everyone opted for the same dessert and managed to finish every drop of that also. Nice atmosphere, roaring fire and great service - made an enjoyable Saturday night out on a cold winter night.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've been to. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, all of it was super. Definitively a place we'll be going back to. The food, which I guess is the main reason people want to look at reviews, was great. I had the Texas Sirloin steak, which was melts-in-your-mouth good. Served with perfectly cooked potatoes, asparagus and caramelized onions (and I think that was a cognac sauce). If you like steak, you won't be disappointed. My father had the braised short rib, which he said was one of the best things he had ever tasted. All the other things on the menu looks equally tempting, and picking the right meal will likely be your hardest choice of the week.

The Thai chicken noodle soup was amazing as a starter and the pork porterhouse and filet that we had were both excellent. Great service and wine selection as well although the prices are a little on the expensive side. The only part of the meal that let us down was the deserts which were not bad but decidedly average in quality when compared to the rest of the meal. The decor left a little to be desired as the only feature was the fireplace it was named after. I would go again, but would likely skip desert and reserve it for only the specialist of occasions.
