On the second day of our Rome Pilgrimage, we experienced a very special event: Mass with Cardinal-elect Blase Cupich and Cardinal Peter Parolin, who serves as Secretary of State of the Vatican. The Mass was held in the Pauline Chapel of the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican, which is the chapel where newly elected popes go to pray before they are announced to the public.
