The Village comes alive with the smells and warmth of traditionally cooked foods and warm hearths. Come indoors and join us as we warm up our tummies by the cosy winter fires.

Come join us this Sunday 20th September 2015 for Live Day!!!
Live Days:
Third Sunday of Every Month (excluding December): Looking for some entertainment, a family day out, or things to do in Auckland?  Then step back in time with us on a Live Day, where the Village comes to life with costumed Villagers. The whole Village is filled with activity, as villagers go about their daily tasks. On most live days you will find a marching band, a Fencible military demonstration, an exhibition that relates to that month’s theme, an opportunity to play with Victorian Era games, and a horse and carriage.  Let’s pass New Zealand’s history onto the younger generations; come learn about life in Colonial Auckland. Live days are from 10:00am to 4:00pm and the entry fee applies.

Fun on Tuesdays in the Holidays:
Tuesdays During NZ School Holidays: Fun on Tuesdays gives families a change to explore the village with activities catered to children. Join us for a day filled with crafts, old fashioned-games, and New Zealand history. Fun on Tuesdays are from 10:00am to 2:00pm and the entry fee applies.

School Holiday Programmes:
Second Thursday of Mid-Year Holidays and Last Thursday of the Christmas Holiday: With a different theme offered every holiday, there’s always something new to come back to! A guide will take primary school children around the village, where children participate in activities like crafts, cooking games, and team activities. Bring a friend, a picnic lunch, a water bottle, old clothes and an adventurous spirit. You must register in advance and limited space is available. The program is from 9:30am to 2:30pm and costs $35 per child or $60 for two children.
