Many moons ago, I made a script for Mac and Linux called 'Nexus Tools.' It's still the fastest way to install ADB and Fastboot, and I just updated it to include the latest versions of each program.

I want to rewrite it at some point to work with more Linux distributions (only really tested in Ubuntu) and download the binaries straight from Google's site, but that's for another day.

Ouch, iFixit gave the Surface Laptop a 0/10 for repairability.

NoPlugin has been approved for Firefox! This is my first add-on for Firefox too, made possible by Mozilla implementing the WebExtensions API.

If you're curious about the improvements in NoPlugin 4.0, read this: https://www.corbin.io/2017/06/noplugin-40-is-now-available.html

First time trying out my E-Mount telescope adapter. It lets me connect my new Sony a5000 camera to the telescope I've had for ages.

I wasn't able to take many photos (or focus it correctly) before the moon went behind the trees, but I'm looking forward to trying it tomorrow night.

I have to admit, Microsoft's hardware efforts in the past year or so have been disappointing. The Surface Studio was a fantastic product, despite having slightly outdated specs (like a 9xx series Nvidia GPU) and being expensive. But considering the long development period of the Studio, that's understandable.

What's not understandable is Microsoft's mobile hardware. The Surface Laptop looks great, but it's $1000 without a full copy of Windows and no Type-C or Thunderbolt ports. The base model even had 4GB of RAM - what?

Now after months and months of Surface Pro owners waiting for an upgrade, Microsoft reveals a spec bump. Just a new processor - no other improvements inside or out.

C'mon Microsoft, you're better than this.
