I might as well share these here too, not that I'm trying to give people ideas. We're doing an adult advent calendar swap here...days 1 and 2 shown... 24 days of mini bottles...the best set up for the holidays. :)

boosting signals here people...
If you live in, or are near the PALM BAY FLORIDA area and have a blood donor cat, with type B, please, please, please contact Animal Emergency at 2281 W. Eau Gallie BLVD, Florida at 321-725-5365

My cat, Mr. Chubblepenny, is doing a little worse today--they believe he has an auto immune disorder which is currently attacking his red blood cells. He really needs a transfusion--and my great friend Cathy--who is trying--has a full schedule today. Her donor cat is in stand by for another sweet kitty in surgery and I would rather not endanger the life of another kitty just for mine.

PLEASE: IF YOU HAVE A BLOOD DONOR CAT, BLOOD TYPE B: CONTACT 321-725-5365 FOR MR. CHUBBLEPENNY!

PLEASE SHARE THIS! THANK YOU!

I wanted bookmarks, but not bookmarks. Husband surprised me with these today. I have been using clips to separate my journal sections but they were a bit bulky.

I had the opportunity to meet the couple and play this game at our local game shop yesterday, and had a blast. It's like an intergalactic sorry with a few twists, space battles, backstabbing and generally a lot of laughs as we all tried to be the first to colonize the perfect planet.

The rules are simple to learn, but there are so many things that you can do as a player, or have things done to you by others, that the game moves quickly. It takes about an hour or two to play, and you can shorten the time by using fewer ships per player.

It's really rare that I sit down to learn a new game, get the hang of it and genuinely have so much fun that I didn't care who won in the end, that I think these guys deserve a shot. If you can't help out with funding, then please spread the word to other gamers, because this one needs to happen.

We have a very diverse group of people in our local table top group, and a lot of us do rp quite  a bit at the table. I agree with Senda that adding backstory elements into the games, or just having that information available can greatly enhance the way that players look at the situations their characters have to deal with. I think the biggest obstacle for most players is learning how to role play and building a character in such a way that it comes more naturally.

I know that with a few games I'm involved in, the role playing has pushed the characters together more as a cohesive group. They look out for each other, and most of them would gladly serve as bait to make sure that the others get out of things ok. I don't think we would have such a bond without those moments where it was the characters in the chairs instead of the players.
