Hump Mountain Magic Moment

Lunch at Little Hump
Not wanting to waste the incredible views, I decide to stop and eat my lunch at Little Hump Mountain. It was as if I had been transported into a movie - I would not have been surprised to run into the von Trapp family up here.

Stan Murray Shelter
About 3.7 miles into the hike I come across the Stan Murray Shelter. No other hikers are here and in fact, I have lost most of the crowd that I saw when my day began. Just me, a snail, a centipede and the trail for awhile.

Bald to Bald
The entire first half of this hike seems like it takes you from one grassy bald to another and with each bald the long range views get better and better.
