How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Murrie Godfrey. Each and everyone of us here at Kingman KOA have a fond memory of Murrie. We respected him as our boss, admiring his integrity, wisdom, values and kindness. We cared deeply for him, appreciating his humor, friendship and compassion for all. He will be missed.

Firstly, cockroaches. Yeah, there's a lot here. It's not so bad an infestation that you see them in the daytime, but they come out at night and are everywhere. Under my tent, all over the picnic table, all over the ground, it's awful. I slept in my car instead of the tent site I paid for. Then I found a camel spider hiding in my tent in the morning as I packed up. And boxelder bugs were everywhere the whole time. Just too many bugs for me to handle. The bathrooms are clean and decently sized. There is a really nice pool and hot tub, although some guests like to ogle and flirt with you as you try to swim, which is awkward and kinda freaked me out. I tried to visit the clubhouse to watch a game and relax but apparently someone was having a birthday party, so I had to watch the game on what was about a 20" TV in the game room. Basically, the worst experience I've ever had in a KOA. Just don't come here, it's for your own good.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Alison, and for staying with us during your recent visit to the Kingman area. Please accept our sincere apologies that you found our campground was not up to your standards, we do our best to continually improve and appreciate your feedback. We will definitely check into your feedback about the cockroaches as we haven't had anyone else report issues. We hope you have safe travels in the future and wish you all the best.

First stop with (new to family) 40 ft. 5th wheel trailer... Staff was awesome, they made the stay extremely enjoyable. Nice, level and big pull through sites that provided more than enough room for the 5 slide outs. Picked up a KOA membership and was given help on where to find a nearby tire store. Very nice experience for a new RV owner.

Came in late one afternoon and rented a cabin. We were driving a 16 foot moving truck and pulling a pickup but they found us a place with plenty of parking next to the cabin which was clean and seemed well maintained. Staff was very nice. Would stop again if we were in the area.

Easy driving distance to Route 66 attractions and dining. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most sites are shaded, but longer sites for big motorhomes are very narrow. Beautiful flowering shrubbery help block out neighborhood and road traffic. Hot tub was broken but pool was nice. They have 11 WiFi connections with decent speed. Only issue is one I have with many campgrounds - they lock down laundry at 9 p.m. with 7:30 p.m. deadline for starting last load, but at least that's better than some other places. Prefer campgrounds where laundry facilities are available at any time (I am camping because I want to see the tourist attractions during the day, so laundry needs to done at night). Clean, well-maintained gravel roads and sites, with full electric, water, and sewer hookups. We would definitely stay here again.
