I was lucky enought to be invited to a surprise party at Amici's on Sunday and it was like having dinner at Mom's. The wait staff were superb and friendly and helpful. Ace was so accomodating that it was like having dinner at my brother's. I was treated like a guest of honor although I was a humble guest. What a treat, I will certainly be back for more good times with my new "family".

My husband made a reservation for 5 people at 3pm on Mothers Day 2013. When we were seated we were given printed out menus , which was a limited menu. Before we came to Amici we looked at the menu on line it listed the prices and a full menu. When the reservation was made they never said we have a limited menu and the prices are going up for Mothers Day. An example of the price increase is chicken parm. 16.95 and on Mothers Day 24.95 , an increase of $7.00 WOW , that really puts a bad taste in your mouth. All the prices on the limited menu were increased by a mim. of $5.00 per entree. I said to my husband later if we didn't have a credit card and only had brought cash we would of been in trouble. Our bill was increased $30 to $40 more than the menu on their web site stated, very deceiving. I called on Monday 5-13-13 and asked to speak to a manger or a owner and the phone was passed to a manger. I proceeded to explain what happened with our experience on Mothers Day how we felt deceived with the prices on their web site and the prices listed on their Mothers Day menu. She listened to me and stated that all restaurants do a limited menu on holidays and a price increase. I disagreed with her and stated no not all restaurants do this. I felt I was getting no where with her and ended the conversation with we will not be back. She did state earlier in our conversation that the prices on the web site aren't the correct prices as listed on their menu, and the person who does the web site hard to get a hold of. This is not a way to run a business.

Always an overflow of cars in the parking areas. Thought we'd try it. Warm shrimp cocktail. Food....better at home. Way too pricey. Think again and try Franks or others. Can't understand why anyone would make a return visit.

We are a very Italian family who knows great Italian food when we taste it. Amici's was an incredible experience, from the food and wine to its service. Our meals were delicious, leaving us all saying "We only regret not coming here sooner!" We especially enjoyed the calamari--we agreed it was the best we have ever had (and we have had a LOT of calamari!)!!! MUST GO!

Excellent food and service. Great for a special occasion. Superb! Had a lovely meal on Sat, May18, 2013. The service was prompt and attentive. Very friendly server. The bread was warm and fresh. My only complaint was that my friends did not get a salad included with their pasta dishes. I think this should be added, as the price of their dinners was over $15. Otherwise, very deliciously prepared food.

We decided to go to this place because it is in our neighborhood. Upon walking in we were told that because we did not have reservations, we would have to sit on the patio. It was a nice evening so I thought that was a good thing. Upon being seated on the patio, at a table which was a bit large for only two people, we were promptly greeted by our server who took our drink order and brought some bread over to the table. After returning with the drinks we ordered our meal. I ordered the clams casino for an appetizer and the Sicilian steak (cooked rare) for an entree. My girlfriend ordered the french onion soup and a penne pasta dish. The french onion soup was OK. The clams casino were about 90% bread crumbs and 10% clam. It also was served with hot sauce which I found odd for clams casino, but it tasted OK. The entrees showed up and my girlfriend thought her penne was decent. My steak did not look appetizing at all. Three extremely thin, although decent sized, pieces of steak swimming in hot sauce with peppers, onions, scallops, and shrimp scattered about. Upon cutting into the steak I could immediately tell it was medium. A steak this thin is next to impossible to cook rare and the chef should have known that and said something. The steak was also incredibly stringy and tough to chew. Filet should not have that kind of texture. The scallops and shrimp clearly had been frozen and reheated in a microwave. The potatoes showed the same as the seafood. It was highly disappointing. I had only taken four bites of the entree and couldn't have any more of it. I informed the waitress of this. She apologized and asked if I wanted anything else, which I did not. The waitress brought the check over and I saw that they had charged me $26.99 for the entree that I had taken four bites out of and sent back. I asked her to take it off the bill and she apologized and informed me that she tried to but the owner would not let her. Whomever owns this restaurant should know that their lack of cooking ability shows quite evidently in the food that they serve. When you have a customer who is dissatisfied, you should make every attempt to please your customer. Putting your wait staff in that kind of position after serving sub-par food is not a good way to drum up repeat business. I can guarantee that we will never return to this restaurant.

My wife and I went their on a Thursday night and it was not busy and after sitting there for 14 minutes I had to ask a bus boy if it was self serve in the restaurant, because that's how long it took the server to even get to the table .The people next to us had arrived 5 minutes after us and had their salads served and we hadn't even seen a server. Finally se arrived and acted like it was normal. Bogus service all night. We should have left the tip for the buss boy. He was the only one giving service that night. Never again.

Terrible. Poor uneducated service. Pushy bus boys. My wife had her plate cleared before she finished. Fruit flies. Three different people asked us if we wanted food boxed while we were eating. Just an overall frustrating experience. As someone who worked in the restaurant business for a while I would highly recommend somewhere else. This place lost whatever it had.
