studying at the library (well, taking a break at the moment, but still) and i think i may have to give up on google as a search option. my geography teacher asked us to run a web search on a general term and post a summary of our findings, including how our findings may have altered our perception of political geography. had i used google, the summary would have been that the first 14 pages of search results were nothing but textbook and college course introduction links. probably not what he was looking for. tried bing instead and got only 5 links to texts & courses on the first page, while the rest were passably academic links to essays, research resources, term definitions & concept explorations, only one of which was wikipedia (the first link). thanks bing. google? get your shit together.
