I have enjoyed seeing Jessica change and grow into a stunning young woman. She was an adorable eight year old girl the first time I met her. She had a ton of spunk and loved ballet and would spin and twirl anywhere. During our first session together, her parents had arranged a family portrait session on China Beach in San Francisco. We did a solo segment of Jessica. Even back then she had a passion for ballet and that is apparent in that blast from the past. That adorable little eight year old girl danced and leapt all along the beach in her tutu, the beach as her stage and the Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop.

Look at this handsome man, DJ! He is in my oh baby! club, and he came into the studio for his 8-month session. I couldn’t believe how much he’s grown since the last time I was with him. I love when parents put their babies on this first year baby portrait plan that I offer. The Oh Baby! Club takes the stress out of baby portraits for parents. They know that I will capture the many milestones that their little ones go through in their first year, and in the end they will have beautiful, professional baby portraits, not just photos they took with their phone.

I was so looking forward to baby Sebastian’s arrival. As an artistic newborn photographer, I had photographed Mom and Dad for their maternity photos, and they were so awesome to work with. I knew how excited they were for their new baby boy to get here. I enjoyed my maternity session with them so much, and I knew that this newborn session would be just as delightful. You guys, just look at how precious this little one is!

As a Berkeley lifestyle family photographer, I am always so honored when a client chooses me to do their family portraits. Especially when the clients are a family I have photographed in the past. So I was very happy to get the call that it was time for family portraits again for the Y Family. It had been four years since our last session, and these kids who were in elementary & middle school last I saw them, were now in middle & high school. What a difference four years makes, they are so grown up!

I just love Mendocino, California. My sister lives there, and we drive up there as often as we can. I am in love with the ocean, the rivers, the meadows, the trails, the town – all of it. As a soon to be graduate of Mendocino High School, B’s Mom contacted me to do her high school senior portraits after seeing my nieces senior portraits. Being such a fan of Northern California, I am always more than happy to bring my camera and shoot in Mendocino. We decided to do B’s shoot on the Mendocino headlands, and more on the outskirts of this quaint little town.

I am always excited to see little ones who are members of my oh baby! club as I love to watch them transition from newborn to toddler! I have the best time watching them grow and seeing their unique personalities emerge. I am fortunate enough to have photographed her mom’s maternity session and also this little sweetie’s newborn session. This is Baby M’s second session for the oh baby! club.

was very honored and excited to work with this family, who found me all the way from Kansas and booked a family portrait session for their trip to San Francisco. One of their sons lives in the area but the rest of the group came to town for a Bay Area adventure. With this adventure they wanted to include the Golden Gate Bridge in their family beach session.

I was SO excited to meet Dominic Joey. I had the pleasure of capturing this family’s maternity session. Mom’s maternity session was in studio but the family wanted to capture the Newborn Session at home. I had no problem with this as I often capture newborn sessions on location in the family home.

Miles was turning one, and we had his last Oh Baby! Club session recently. Oh Baby! Club is a series of sessions I offer parents during their little one’s first year to help them capture important milestones which happen so quickly during those twelve months of development.
