See some important and interesting facts about #toothdecay below.

For example: Only 44% of U.S. children brush their teeth twice a day. (The recommended amount is three times a day.)

I have been going to Dr. Richardson's office for years. The staff is very friendly and the office is very clean. Need a crown? You can have your permanent crown the same day. No need for a temp. Dr Richardson has all the new, cool equipment. My children are grown and could go to a different dentist, but the choose to stay with Dr. R. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.

I couldn't possibly recommend a dentist more! Dr. Richardson and his staff genuinely care about their patients in a way that very few dental offices I've seen do. It's also some of the fastest dental work you'll ever experience. =]

I’ve been going to see Dr. Richardson and his great team for over 10 years. I’ve never met a friendlier or more skilled group of dental professionals. One time I developed a massive tooth ache on the weekend - Dr. Dave made a special trip to open the office and personally took care of me. It’s that kind of incredible client service that has made me a loyal patient for life.

I switched to Dr. Richardson's office just recently because they had some newer technology that I wanted to ask about, but I found that they are also super nice and friendly! I just went in for my regular cleaning and all staff is really friendly and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. They even caught a tooth problem of mine and offered a quick solution that two other dentists hadn't seen which could have caused me huge problems and a lot of money if not solved! :) I will now be coming here for all my dental work for sure!

Unfortunately, Dr. Richardson has lost our family as clients. I received no reply to my email or to my request of the receptionist to have Dr. Richardson call me, so it’s a bit ironic that their office sent me an email requesting public feedback on their Yahoo account! My two children had 8:00 am appts. The day before their appt, I got a message at 4:15 pm (outside of a confirmation email sent to me shortly after making the apt, I received no other emails, texts, calls regarding this appt) telling me that if I didn't call them back by 5:00 they would cancel because the hygienist didn't want to get daycare. Then they called a left me another message at 5 and cancelled the appts. I didn’t see the phone message until 5:15 and tried to call but received the answering service. When I spoke to them they made it clear "that was their policy because 99/100 people "no show" if they don't reach them”. I have never in my life been given a 45 minute window to confirm an appt., let alone having it cancelled, but no one was apologetic. In fact, they were adamant that I was to blame for not confirming the appt. I should add that I am a medical practitioner myself and understand the frustration of have patients “no show”. I don’t get paid when my patient doesn’t show up. I’m also a working mom with a 10 and7 year old. I also know the hassles of childcare very well. We were loyal clients who never missed an appt. Having said all that, I still cannot fathom cancelling a scheduled appt. (with only 45 minutes to return a phone call) because there is a chance of a “no show”. I guess the only way to guarantee someone won’t “no show” is to go ahead and be proactive and cancel them first!!

Response from the owner - 11 months ago
We are always saddened to lose a patient from our family practice. We work so hard to provide the most comfortable, convenient dental care for our patients. Our automated system to confirm patients normally works so well! We touch base for confirmation beginning at 2 weeks prior followed by a week, the night before, and the day of if we have not heard back from our patient...the method of contact is customized by each patient and may include home and cell phone, texts, and email. With so many touch-points, we have learned that patients who don't confirm don't show up for their appointments. We feel bad that Melissa was inconvenienced and absolutely understand her disappointment. Thank you, Melissa, for your time with our office. We wish you and your family all the best! I have only top praise for David Richardson DDS, who has been my dentist for over eight years. He is hands-down the best dentist I have ever experienced! Not only is he a stellar professional whose office has the most current state-of-the-art dental equipment, he’s warm, patient and personable and puts me at ease. From crowns to cleanings, I’ve only experienced the best in comfort and treatment. Plus he has an eye for hiring wonderful people! Joyce, in particular, is a delight. I highly recommend both David Richardson DDS and his support staff.

We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr. Richardson and his super friendly staff have been taking care of our family for almost a decade - even after we moved to Mill Creek. Even grandma and grandpa are clients, and they live in Marysville! From the very beginning, after not having been to a dentist in years, we were never judged, they were just happy to take care of us. My favorite was my husband and I getting all our "silver" fillings from childhood updated to a fabulous natural appearance. They also referred us to our favorite Orthodontist when our daughter was ready. Our whole family loves our smiles, thanks to Dr. Richardson and his ladies. =)

Dr. Richardson is by far one of the best dentists I've ever been to. Both he and his team are very caring and will work to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Every time I've seen Dr. Richardson, he's taken time to discuss procedures and issues with me and he obviously cares about his patients. No fake smiles here! If you need a dentist, go see Dr. Richardson!
