Where can we find confidence within the battery of Alzheimer's Disease? In the one place it's always been - God's heart.

Women in the Bubble

A strange phenomenon exists within many churches - women who sit alone within the bubble of exclusiveness. Why does this continue to happen?

How to Find the Balance

How do we avoid the burnout that chases us when we refuse to play? Is it possible to find fulfillment in work and still have the courage to take a Sabbatical?

A Key for Fighting Bitterness

What is the key choice we can make to keep us from festering into bitterness? How can we become stronger and better, no matter what has happened to us?

Enjoyed talking with Heather Randall on "A Musing" today. The topic of Alzheimer's, dementia and "Final Grace for Reverend G."

This week on A Musing, I was joined by +RJ Thesman, the author of the "Life at Cove Creek" Series. We spoke about Alzheimer's disease and the challenges for patients and families. We also discussed the powerful messages within the "Life at Cove Creek" series. Don't miss this! Somewhere in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's, there must be a lesson. But finding it and staying in hope is the tricky part.

Introduction
I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma and yes, it's true that you can't take the country out of the girl. Currently, I live in the heartland of Kansas where I cheer for the Jayhawks.

As a writer, I'm interested in helping caregivers, particularly those who deal with Alzheimers and dementia. These diseases have affected our family in tragic ways and I write about them using the genre of fiction.

"The Unraveling of Reverend G" is the story of a woman minister who is diagnosed with Alzheimers. Rev G checks into Cove Creek Assisted Living where she meets Bert, Roxie and Gabriel - the cat with a special gift. The book is available on Amazon and from my publisher, Cross River Media.
