Well, I could have cooked this breakfast at home.... really BLAND and ordinary! Absolutely a waste of hard earned money. I don't know who the cooks are in the kitchen, but they need to be removed!

A good cup of coffee in the morning can really set your day off to a good start! Unfortunately, I couldn't even get that at this McDonald's! I got some liquid filled with coffee grounds! I called the store to complain and spoke to the manager, I believe it was "Martinez", and although he was kind, I doubt if things will improve there based on the workers I've seen. If you want a good cup of coffee on Trinity Lane, just go to the Exxon across the street. This was not the first time I got an inferior product from this McDonald's ... unfortunately, the food is "hit or miss" too. The most consistent McD's I've been to in Nashville is West End near Centennial Park.

My husband and I don't go out to eat a lot, so when we do, we really want to have a great experience. I find the prices at Panera a little high for what you get, and the food is really just average, with no great sides! An option of a side of bread with a sandwich doesn't make sense to me. We went on Friday night, and it was so cold in the store, we couldn't sit inside ... we had to eat outside on the patio. The half sandwich thing is for babies. I did like the broccoli cheddar soup.

Overall, I was more impressed with the spaciousness and decor, than the food. I had the crab cake salad. The crab cakes were miniature, a little greasy, and bland, and the young waitress didn't know what vinegarette was (they didn't have any, according to her). The pastry case is HUGE and of course your mouth waters to see all those goodies, but again ... more hype than substance. I bought a few cookies. The coconut pecan were soft and good, but the oatmeal/cranberry walnut cookies tasted old. So it's a mixed bag. I think the one in Brentwood built such a good reputation - I used to go there for pastries all the time, and I NEVER got an item I didn't like, that it made this one in Franklin disappointing.

I could have cooked a better omelet at home for a lot less money. The omelets averaged about $7-10. The servers didn't seem overly friendly ... maybe they weren't quite awake. There's lot's of TV's in the place, all of which were on the sports channel at 8am. Not exactly what a couple of middle aged women want to see ... it had a kind of sports bar/sit down restaurant feel to it, but the food was nothing to write home about. The highly visible liquor bar seems odd too for a place that serves breakfast. There was nothing there to motivate me to return.
