Incredible spot! Michelin resto that really deserved their star! The steak dish was unreal- I could have cried it was so good! Wish they had more moderately priced wines but I guess at a place like this you should expect to drop some big bucks. Well worth it though!

Came here for lunch during restaurant week - loved each dish! There were three of us, and we ordered one of everything on the menu. Standouts were the pasta dishes, for sure. Fresh ingredients, excellent service! What a great spot for a fancy lunch. Looking forward to trying the regular menu soon - everything looked and smelled divine.

I've only been to Cafe Spiaggia, but everything was amazing. My favorite dish was the wild boar ragu. My friend also really liked his chicken liver mousse. The cafe is cute and cozy with nice views of Michigan Ave.

I went for restaurant week, so I can only speak to that. (One person in my party ordered outside the RW menu and got a pasta dish--it looked and was reportedly tasty, but...well, it was a lot of money for pasta.) We tried a few different dishes. They were not things on the regular menu, which isn't a great sign for RW. The ingredients were small and not great (e.g., chicken thighs). The mozzarella and prosciutto app was tasty, better than the entree. The desserts were also good, a choice of 2 or 3, and a substantial amount of dessert (too much fo one person each, actually). The gelato was good, and the zeppoli were reportedly also good, although I tried them and they weren't as warm or as soft as I'd have liked at that point. Service was okay, a bit slow, but better than rushing us. They held our table a few minutes, which was nice of them. The wine was really over the top in terms of price, which is of course how they still turn a very tidy profit on RW (that and the inferior food). Not sure I'd go back for RW or otherwise, although if friends wanted to I'd be fine with it.

Nice restaurant with beautiful design, but too much pricey for what they served. It looks like that they try to do like 3 Michelin stars with very small portions and very high prices... If you prefer something more simple, go the "cafe" and enjoy the "pasta"!

Hummm I expected so much more. The place was empty on a Tuesday and to be honest considering such my food should have been hot when it arrived. Don't even remember what I had by the time I am writing this so,... not sure I would rank it a "best restaurant" in Chicago. Weiner Circle is more notable, in its category.

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is fabulous and the service is top notch! The wait staff is knowledgeable about the intricacies of the dishes and the flavors are amazingly thought out and superb.

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this place... a lot of people do and I totally get why after I finally got the chance to visit. And my visit was a special one, too. I received a an invite to not just dine at the restaurant but to actually have an opportunity to help prepare some of the dishes and cook alongside Chef Tony Mantuano and Chef Sarah Grueneberg. And it just so happened to be the same week of my birthday. Talk about one of the best birthdays ever. It was seriously so amazing. The experience was out of thus world and the food was beyond absolutely delicious! Plus I love the atmosphere. I would return again and again.
