Hey Todd,  Thanks again for the videos! I'm not sure if you're planning on showing this in another video or not, but is there a way for me to have the profile activate only some of the services for people.  For example, I only want some people to have access to email, but I can't seem to figure out how to get Profile Manager to not automatically set it up for them.

+David Kartsonis Thanks for the comment. Yes I will be covering that in a couple weeks when I cover setting up profiles for users and groups in profile manager. There you can set up individual profiles for each user. You can also remove that service (mail) from the users you don't want to have it in the users section. Hopefully that helps.

Hey Todd!  Your tutorials have helped me immensely!

I have a question that some people below have already asked, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I have example.com hosted on a different server and I want my Mavericks server to be server.example.com.  I tried setting up my Primary Zone as example.com and my Machine record as server.example.com, but since my Maverick's server is my DNS server it's messing with my ability to get to the real example.com.

I've tried changing my Primary Zone to server.example.com, but then my Machine record changes to server.server.example.com.  When I try to edit that to remove one of the servers, it tells me "This machine record cannot be created without a host name."

Any ideas on how to solve this?

+David Kartsonis Thanks for the comment. To clear this up, just delete your machine record and create another one. You may get a double reverse zone that you can delete but that should work. Hope that helps:).
