Gorgeous view from the top of Mt Paku this morning. Totally worth waking up at 5.30 for.

Hi folks! I'm just starting out with my travel blog. If you're interested in travel, I have a few posts on New Zealand and Bali. But a post I think we might all have something in common with - do you have a bucket list?
I'm an avid list maker. I have lists, for lists, for lists! Okay. It's an insane habit of mine and I know I share it with many, many people out there - don't fib now! So it was only inevitable that one day I would write mysel...

The New Zealand South Island is absolutely stunning. We travelled here in June this year and it's fair to say it's one place I will definitely be returning to... One day!

Introductions  -

Hello everyone, my name is Shellby, I'm 21 and from Lincolnshire.
I would like to thank Blogging UK for accepting me here, I'm happy to be a part of this community.

My blog is a travel blog. Almost a year ago I took the courageous decision to quit my job, sell my car and everything I owned and apply for my first adult passport. 6 weeks later I found myself in New Zealand, clueless.
My blog started off as just something to keep family and friends at home up to date with my adventures, but now I'd like it to reach further and grow.

I would love for you to click through, and a critique would be awesome. I've tried taking inspiration from other travel bloggers, but I want my own look, not sure if I've found it yet.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to getting to know people here!

NOM, NOM, NOM! Dinner was good tonight!
It's important to eat healthy food and decent sized meals when you're travelling, but it can be expensive! Tom and I are working on re-creating our favourite meals into budget friendly backpacker style dishes! This one we will be taking home with us ;)

This was the first dish Tom and I tried to make from scratch - and trust me, it took us several attempts to get it right! We think we've finally got it just right, see what you think.  Serves: 2 people Ingredients...

Bali - so ugly, it's beautiful!
I'm going to start this blog post from the bottom line and that would be: Bali is so ugly it's beautiful!            Well, thats my thoughts on it anyway. This month we were faced with the opportunity to visit another country for our last free month before ...

New Zealand is such a beautiful country. I'm so glad I chose to venture here for my first ever travel experience out of the UK and so lucky that I can be here to enjoy it.
I don't know about you, but I really enjoy driving. Long distance driving is the best for me. I love driving from one suburb to the next, through quaint little villages and past rolling hills. There's something romantic and i...
