The Mirror speaks for us all, in a well-written article that gives facts and opinion in a low-key and straightforward manner that even Tory cronies must understand.
It’s telling, perhaps, that she has been supported by colleagues whose own expenses aren’t exactly benign - like Jeremy Hunt and Sir George Young

We don't have to wait till then.
When Kurt Vonnegut died in 2007, I recall reading about his passing and being quite depressed at the thought of a world without him in it. I read all of his books when I was a kid—some of them several times over—and like many of my generation (and the one above it) I very much internalized Kurt Vonnegut’s notoriously pessimistic, but ultimately kind-hearted view of mankind. I can also say, without hesitation, that his way of looking at the abs...

Wow! I had no idea people back then we're thinking about being stewards of nature. This letter is relevant to my generation, right now!

I've no idea why palm oil is good for the planet.

Fuel, some may say -- by cutting down the rainforest which is essential for the planet (by turning Co2 into O2)?

Making orang utans (our cousins) an endangered species?

Making global corporations -- and therefore their shareholders -- rich at the cost of the planet?

Deutsche Bank and its shareholders should be ashamed. However rich they are, and however charitable they think they are -- they need to wake up -- before the roses are no longer here to smell. Joined up thinking!
Landgrabbing and the destruction of rainforests – that's business as usual for the world's largest palm oil company FELDA. Now it is going public and has teamed up with one of Germany's biggest banks ...

A fantastic example of policing... Other police forces could see, take note and learn -- to the benefit of their citizens and their communities.

So the police start off by protecting the BNP's legal right to march and end up kettling them for their own protection! Congrats to the people of Brighton too.

I would just like to thank the couples sitting behind me at "Mandela – The Long Walk To Freedom" and "12 Years a Slave" for enhancing my enjoyment beyond measure by filling each moment of silence with sibilant chatter.

I, too, have enjoyed passing comment on TV shows in the privacy of my own home, but had not considered sharing my comments with an audience of hundreds who had paid good money for an immersive cinema experience.

Further sensory delight has been vouchsafed by patrons who crackle, crunch and slurp their way through giant boxes of oh-so-fragrant popcorn, aromatic hot dogs, fruity sweets, yummy yoghurt and, of course, monster mugs of cola.

Words cannot adequately convey how much I am looking forward to the added (but not optional) auditory and olfactory sensations my fellow patrons will confer on me the next time I visit a cinema.

Yes +Jenn Camforth  -- a young couple ate and drank in between snogging during Festen -- and even at the opera as well! I actually grabbed the arm of the teenager sitting next to me when she again offered around chocs in crinkly cases during the very affecting final scenes of Turandot at Covent Garden.

Breaking up is hard to do -- I've usually tried to "stay friends" sometimes works, sometimes aaarrrggghhh!
It might have been the man purse, or how you made them feel insecure eating cake. Then again, maybe you just stopped liking each other. Here are just some of the reasons couples split up
