Shocked this is a Hyatt in DC! Just ordered room service and the silverware looked not so very clean. Salad looked like 2 days old in fridge. Great salmon though. The plate covers are all dented! There are no ice machines on the first floor and the guy who brought me the food had to go to get ice from the kitchen as he doesn't even know where is the closest machine. Got a terrible view, by the DirecTV antennas on an area with standing water that, by the color, I can tell it never dries up. Notepads in the room but not a single pen! Overall, everything's outdated. Surprised that Hyatt keeps this thing operational. I regret so much that I did not looked up to reviews before making a reservation.

Last year I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt in Bethesda. But I find it incredibly odd how none of the clients staying at the hotel noticed the vast spiral of conspiracies going on under the hood. First of all, the hotel is about 11 stories high, and the rooms are 9 windows across. 9-11... Coincidence? I think not. Most notable was the fact that they had hidden several airplanes in their parking garage, airplanes which would've been used to spread chem-trails all over Washington DC. These chemicals, when mixed with the air cause a highly corrosive chemical that causes forced precipitation and mixes with the water- the same water used by the Mountain Dew Factory next door. The Mountain Dew Factory then makes it shipment to the Hyat hotel, where hundreds of people drink it daily. I don't like a world where mutant overlords force feed us lies through subliminal propaganda in today's media. I also don't like it when monkeys steal the banana I've been saving since riding my house from Idaho, Montana. The fact that we have hotels that force feed monkeys into America's Bananas is just sick and wrong. Fight the good fight people.

The room and the pool weren't bad. But I brought my PS4 but they do not let you hookup anything to the tv HDMI. That was terrible.

Old, muggy rooms and pathetic customer service. Avoid it like the plague! I have had more problems with this place than all other Hyatts put together. And trust me i stay at a lot of Hyatts.

I just spent a week here and it was not pleasant. The decor throughout the hotel is very outdated. My room smelled like dirty laundry. Had to deal with two malfunctions - the toilet handle broke and the a/c stopped working. The TV channels suck (no HBO). You have to pay for things that are free at other hotels (wifi, computers in the business center, water bottles in the room). There are much nicer hotels in the area that are also cheaper. Shop around.

DON'T LEAVE STUFF IN YOUR ROOM - IT WILL BE STOLEN! I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a medical research conference Nov 2 - 4th. The hotel at best was mediocre (old rooms, loud heater) but the kicker was that I left some expensive shoes there by accident when I checked out. I had a small suitcase that I carried on both ways and my bag was never left unattended. When I got back home, I tried calling Lost and Found a few times as soon I unpacked. After trying for two days straight (also left messages), they assured me that they would "look into things". That was 10 days ago. I still haven't heard a response. Either one of the staff members found these shoes and took them or they didn't clean the room well enough to find them, and the next guests found them. Either way - I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

I was questioning wether or not I should travel, due to the ebola scares around the nation, and I decided to go ahead and take the risk. Now looking back, I wish I had stayed home! The hotel was absolutely horrible, the maids came knocking persistently to clean even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door! Then, when they did clean, they did not change my towels. I called the front desk to ask for some new towels, and it took them an hour to bring them! I also asked for a wake-up call at 6 a.m. so I could catch my flight at 9:00, and they called me at 6:25. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
