I love the personal attention I receive at FT. I'm greeted by name whenever I walk in, and even in the group classes, I feel I get personal attention. Each member of the staff knows me, knows what I am capable of, and knows what I need to work on. They know how to push me just a little bit past my comfort zone in each workout so that I continue to make progress. And when I consider where I was when I started, I am sometimes amazed to see how far that gentle pushing has brought me.

The entire training team at Fitness Together (FT) Dunwoody is excellent. They listen to your goals and help hold you accountable to achieve them. I have worked with each trainer either one-on-one or in a PACK and have truly learned invaluable lessons from each of the trainers. The FT staff welcomes you into the family with open arms and quickly makes you feel like more than a client, but truly a friend. I have taken away something valuable from each session and cannot recommend FT Dunwoody enough. I asked them to train me how to train and they did it!

I just finished up eight weeks with Fitness Together. I feel like a different person. I lost weight and gained a lot of strength. This team is the best. Very friendly and welcoming every time they see you. Chauncey is never letting me slack off and is always giving out free nutrition advice. He gets ya going on those early classes! Makes for a better day! I haven't run in over a year and with the encouragement I received here I'm back on track running 3 X a week.

If you want a fitness program that will meet you at whatever your current level of fitness is, motivate you, and then over time raise your level of fitness more than you thought possible, this is the place to go! The trainers here are very knowledgeable and friendly, and push me harder than I would ever be able to push myself. They clearly explain the exercises and provide a lot of variety to keep the workouts interesting. In my first 8 weeks I noticed a significant difference in my overall fitness, running speed, and muscle definition from the PACK classes. I highly recommend Fitness Together!

I have been taking PACK (group fitness) classes at Fitness Together for about 6 weeks now. I really love the trainers at FT. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and keep you accountable regardless of whether you are in their class or not. The whole team comes together to help you reach your fitness goals. I also enjoy the camaraderie of my fellow classmates. Everyone is friendly and we encourage one another. Classes are typically around 6 people which is just enough to keep energy going in the room, but not so many that you're tripping over one another. Online scheduling is easy and there are time slots for both the before and after work workout. Plus weekends. Definitely happy to have this team on my side!

So much better than the normal gym. Eli is fantastic and really cares about my success! They are all about personal success and no matter what your level, they design it perfectly for you. You won't find anything like this in a standard gym!

This gym rocks! So supportive and non - salesman like atmosphere. ...Eli Mazer and Malcolm NDango are great partners to help you reach your goal....But frankly every trainer is great! It's got a boutique feel and almost seems like Cheers. .."where everyone knows your name"! Love it :^)

Trainers are committed and smart about avoiding injuries but pushing you toward your goal. I've seen results in 5 weeks. Takes more time than that, of course, but this place can help put you on the right track. Friendly and warm environment with real clients working hard - but only for those committed to really working out. No faking it here.

Fit Tips: You Have a Set Point, Acknowledge It

Drugged up by no-limits, self-help philosophy, many people get frustrated when they plateau in their weight loss or muscle gaining goals. Everyone has an equilibrium and genetic set point where there body wants to remain. This doesn’t mean that you can’t achieve your fitness goals, but don’t be too hard on yourself if you are struggling to lose weight or put on muscle. Acknowledging a set point doesn’t mean giving up, but it does mean realizing the obstacles you face.

Expect to hit a plateau in your own fitness results. When you expect a plateau you can manage around it so you can continue your progress at a more realistic rate. When expectations meet reality you can avoid dietary crashes.
