A stunning result from +Jérôme Berbigier. Make sure you head on over to the shot to plus it!!

Gullfoss at dusk, South West Iceland. I took this photograph in 2012 but never published it. As I see it now, it's probably one of my favourite from there, it also brings great memories of a country I've dreamed to come back to.

Feel free to share.

If you haven't ever been to Lake Tekapo located on the South Island of New Zealand, then add it to your bucket list of locations!! Its stunning. The colour of the water is so incredibly aqua words cannot describe.

I was lucky enough to get there thanks to my amazing mates who kidnapped me for a surprise birthday 40th present last year - As they say, Best trip ever (add a homer addition to that statement..so far!). Sir Timothy Poulton was the mastermind and along came my life long bruv Darren (squashed onto squares) and Dex!!. We covered as much of the Tekapo area as we could in 4 days and then some.

Captured this shot the first evening we got there. It was on the shore of Lake Tekapo near the famous Church of God as the sun decided to head to bed. Twas the start of one hell of a journey.

Anyways..Thanks for looking all and hope you have a cracking weekend

PS. If you need to find out where this location is, grab your mobile and browse to www.timothypoulton.com and check out the Location Guides section. Its one exciting project for not only photography guides also for some stunning photography!!

Its been a while since I have been out shooting anything successful let alone post something so thought I would do the old look through the archives (while sitting at home with man flu!).

There is something about this shot that I have always liked but could never put my finger on. Could be the contrasting lines from the direction of the rocks to the horizontal motion of the sky. Not sure. Let me know what you think

If you haven't checked it out, jump on your mobile and head to www.timothypoulton.com and click on the "Locations" heading to get access to some fantastic location guides from around the world. Its exciting stuff!!

This location in the South Island of NZ, is one stunning venue for any landscape photographer. Although I'm pretty sure all the locals with their weekend batches, would not agree with me letting this fact fly. But its worth a visit. The background to this lake is awesome inspiring and amazing all at the same time. And it was shared with some pretty awesome company.

Hope everywhere else, the weekend was ok...but it Sydney it was wet, rainy and miserable.

Take care and Stay Safe!!

On the last day of our mad NZ adventure, and on Dex's recommendation, we headed on up to St Johns Observatory as a wicked storm was rolling in. I don't think I could accurately give a sense of how strong the wind was up there, but it was incredible. Actually the whole day we had experienced gale force winds and up here was no exception. It really is such an impressive location over looking Lake Tekapo and well worth a visit if you are ever there.

Hope everyone has a cracking weekend.

Stay Safe

It's this kinda day today in Sydney - Overcast, rainy and colourless so what better type of image to post than a nice b&w. Captured this one down in the Kosciuszko national park a few years ago. Was blowing and absolute gale and man was it awesome to be part of.

Hope everyone else's weekends has more colour than this image. Not that it makes it better of course!

Take care!

Ps...Number 50 in the Photography guides is about to hit the site so stand by all!! Grab your mobile and head on over to www.timothypoulton.com and click on the location guides to see some incredible work

Spotted this run off as we crossed over a beautiful old bridge running parallel to Lake Tekapo. The 4wd was having a great time on the dirt road while listening to a bit of Mumford & Sons. I don't tend to take daytime photos (personal preference only) but on this occasion I was drawn to. Its not a cracking shot but it does remind me of the beauty of the area as well as the times spent over there. Hopefully that comes through.

Take Care and Stay Safe

So its been a while right. My photography has disappeared of late due to work commitments which seem to be taking any spare moment of life that I have. So I decided the other night to revisit some shots of old to remember what it is like to be out there.

Ahh this shot. Taken on the amazing birthday trip to the south island of NZ. And while we were looking for Lake Alexandrina, Lake McGregor was a nice surprise. The trip was one of a life time, brought about by my best bud TimP and along came my other best bud, The Squashed One and the Dexman.

Hope everyone has a cracking weekend that’s coming up.

Stay Safe!
