Waiting in line to buy lottery ticket

Almost felt like election day, long line at 7-11 to buy the power ball lottery tickets, people were still behind me in line and fighting over pencils to fill in their tickets . $550 million on the line.

I was actually surprised with the amount of people waiting in line with me, it was a work day, got there at 8am, and i saw people wearing their work uniforms, glad that some employers were flexible with their time and allowed the employees to get out and vote. I heard that in some places it was a 4 hour wait.

Rainy Season

Miami Beach, you really need to step your game up on our antiquated city drainage, it floods all too often here on south beach. #MiamiBeach   #rain

Time Lapse - Purple Orchid

Learning from my previous time lapse test, this is an actual timelapse of an orchid blooming. Taken over a course of over 50 hours, at 1 shot per every 10 minutes, played back at 10 frames/second.

Pretty pleased with the result overall, and impressed with the fluidy of the growth. The video was made using Lightroom 4 slideshow feature, exported as a movie. While I enjoyed this first attempt at time lapse photography, I really wish I had a second camera, as this camera becomes totally unmovable and untouchable for the duration of the time lapse. The one thing I was dreading was that the camera battery would die, but after 310 shots, its still at full bars. I intend to have fun with my Intervelameter, but I already feel Its $14 cost was worth it.

Just straight up delicious. Small place, good service. Not fancy, not expensive.

Love this place, its my hole in the wall, not ever really packed, music is not too loud, not too smoky, chill bartenders type of place. They have hundreds of beers, if you are a beer drinking not looking for the usual budlights/coronas, this is where you need to go.

Had some pizza, kind of big for a single person, but was tasty. Not the cheapest place, but also not too expensive. Don't think I would go back there unless friends really wanted to go there. Only have Peroni on tap which is lame...

Cheap food, very home made style. No thrills as far as fancy decorations, just tasty central American style cooking. Big menu with many choices. Get a pupusa if you come here
