Close the kitchen earlier if you no longer feel like serving food - arrived around 10:05 and our food was NOT good - well done burger should have been medium rare, burned tater tots, gross beet salad. Service was non-existent. I get that the end of the night was approaching, but very lackluster treatment. Even manager couldn't be bothered to check on anyone and spent ages clearing tables instead of paying attention to service. Beer was good, but we won't be back.

Every place I visit I spread the cheer of Great Lakes Christmas Ale. For me this was my gateway into the world of interesting beers and a quest to find a better xmas ale. My favorite time of year to visit GLBC is between halloween and thanksgiving for that lucky moment when pumpkin and xmas are both tapped.

If you go on a weekend be prepared to wait. It was unbelievably crowded inside. We had a 75 minute wait for a table and it was impossible to get near the bar upstairs or in the Pub so we went across the street to Market Garden Brewery. It was packed there also but was able to get bar service and find a spot to stand and drink without getting crushed. Later returned and had a delicious meal and a couple Christmas Ales. Service was sketchy but place was absolutely slammed. Overall though we had a good time. Probably consider another visit next time I'm in Cleveland

Great Lakes beer is world-class and the vibes inside the restaurant and very cool. I would rate five stars but I have eaten there a few times and have always been underwhelmed with the food. I enjoy drinking here but I recommend eating somewhere else in Ohio City or nearby Tremont.

An early arrival to the Ohio craft brew game. This is still one of the best. They have an eclectic lineup up beers. My favorite is the season Nosferatu. Christmas Ale is a local classic. Their Oktoberfest is one of the best of the Marzen style.

I went with some friends and we took the brewery tour. It was very cool to see the history of this place. The beer is excellent too. My favorite is Elliott Ness.

Such an awesome atmosphere with incredible service and comfortable hospitality. Definitely treat yourself and get the beer sampler so you can try all the regular and seasonal beers before you order your own pint. Started with some Alaskan Cod Pub bites and fresh baked Barley pretzels; fish practically melts in your mouth. The butternut squash risotto was a true masterpiece and was served in an acorn squash, which was over the top amazing. It sat well with the lemony tart Cleveliner Weisse. Highly recommend this place to beer lovers and foodies of all kinds!

The Elliot Ness is so smooth ! Hands-down if I could get that out here in California I take it 20 out 20. Born and raised in Elyria Ohio, but I live in the bay area in Northern California. Someone please send me a case of Great Lakes beer!
