Who can mess up a beef nacho? This place can. Congrats on being the worst nacho I have ever had in my life. Homemade chips? I hardly doubt that - they were stale. I should've know when I saw ZERO Mexicans in there that it really wasn't authentic Mexican food. Only plus - my waitress was pleasant. Save your money and go to Taco Bell.

I agree with many of the other comments, quality & service are both lacking. Bueno y Sano is near by and MUCH better.

I'm a commercial driver, who enjoys good eating & I was very impressed by this restaurant. From the service to the presentation, to the timeliness. I'd definitely go back.

I read the history of Casa de Nana on their menu while I was waiting. If it's true, they need to go back to Texas, Arizona, California, or anything in the Southwest and try again. I ordered the burrito with ranchera sauce. The ranchera sauce was actually tomato paste, as my friend who was dining with me can attest. The chips were stale and the salsa was bland. I used to live in Texas, and this place is a far cry from Tex Mex or even Mexican food. The best place I have found for actual Mexican food in Springfield is On the Border, which isn't saying much. Even Taco Bell does better Mexican food than this place. I'm pretty sure the problem is as much with New England as the restaurant. I've found most people from this area don't like spicy food or food with different flavors than they are used to. You can't survive as a restaurant here if you don't cater to the New England palate, so I don't really blame Casa de Nana since I believe they took that into account. On the plus side, our waiter was friendly and genuine and good service can go a long way.
