I’ve launched a fantastic Kickstarter campaign to fund my first solo exhibition at the Dugdale Centre, running for a month in November. Titled ‘Escape and Return’ it’s designed to be an immersive experience that digs deep down to show what it’s like living with Asperger’s, focusing on sensory issues, relationships, family and employment.

The majority of Everybody Has A Plan is set in the beautiful but barren islands of the Tigre Delta. Like certain scenes of Lee Daniels’ recent The Paperboy, the atmosphere is palpable in these backwoods full of society’s outcasts. Both films also have a fierce streak of noir with their characters in way out of their depths amidst the dodgy criminals that lurk around the river channels.

Despite a compelling performance by Jessica Chastain as a woman whose last name we never learn, Zero Dark Thirty, much like Code Name: Geronimo (2012) follows the official account without ever calling it into question or asking many of the questions we’ve all asked since that night – such as “why did the world’s most wanted man not stand trial?”

Culminating with the night-time raid on bin Laden’s compound Code Name: Geronimo is only too willing to re-hash the story we’ve been told time and again – but that doesn’t necessarily make it true.
