As our name implies we are primarily a sausage house & beer garden. We have the largest tap system (104) in Austin and the largest sausage selection (30) of any restaurant in the state.

Abundant sausages & beers on tap inside a rustic-chic cottage or outside in the leafy beer garden.- Google
"Great beer selection of course, but the fig bacon duck sausage is my favorite."
"There's live music during Sunday brunch too."

Banger’s, Housing ample variety of comfort food with its large selection of sausages to a tri-fecta of pork on (special occasions), you can bet to fill any hunger no matter the depth of pit. Feel right at home choose from their traditional menu to their exotic and wild menu that awakens taste-buds as you salivate all over your plate. The Turducken, Turkey, Duck & Chicken unify in spectacular manner forming a eagle of Sausages, that soars above all others. Paired with a Circle Envy Amber tall glass from the tap, never with wine, and you will have a hard time walking out.

Bangers has a great beer selection. I also appreciate that they group their beers by type. Love the "Category Busters" category. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

If you like beer, there are two places you should visit on Rainey Street: Craft Pride and Banger's. Only the latter has the added benefit of having an extensive offering of delicious, delicious sausages. The Bockwurst is a particular favorite of mine although it is always a difficult choice. And those chili cheese fries are an absolute must. Just be careful though, repeatedly ordering more fries can quickly rack up quite the bill. But back to the beer! What a glorious wall of taps with every kind of brew imaginable! Feeling overwhelmed? Just ask the bartenders, they're more than willing to help steer you to a suitable drink. The outdoor patio is wonderful when the weather is nice in Austin. The ground is usually quite dusty so be careful wearing your nice shoes unless you want to clean them.

This place is all around excellent! If you like good beer and great food this place is for you. They have an amazing back yard with community seating. Dog friendly. Good spot for large groups. There is always something fun going on here whether its live music, meet the brewer, pig roast or adult fooseball. There are no tvs at this bar so you have to come here for the good beer and company. Perfect spot to spend all day outside. There are over 80 beers on tap and they have a big selection of gluten free beers and ciders.

My husband and I found this place we were exploring Rainey st for the first time and we do not regret coming here! 104 beers and so many delicious foods! If you're overwhelmed by the beer selection and want to try something new try the beer bingo! It's some sort of Russian roulette bingo game where they spin a wheel, pull out a ball with a # on it and the number will match up with a beer # they have on the wall. It's a chance for you to try something new. We've tried: 1) the jalapeno cheddar bratwurst: The bratwurst was good but the bun was huge and kinda made it hard to eat. 2) the currywurst: My favorite and is a must try! The curryflavored sausage + fries are the best. Plus the bratwurst is all cut up so that you could eat it slowly with your beer. 3) the duck bacon and fig: Again, bratwurst is so so good but the bun makes it hard to eat. 4) the snickers ice cream pot: OMG you must try. We went town on this small pot of ice cream and I'm pretty sure you will too. The only things that could bother you can be: - Parking. You know how it is! (But if you live near the boardwalk like me, it's a 30 minute walk to rainey st and you can drink however much beer you want!) - The wait. This place is popular so if you want a seat you'll just have to wait. - The tables are communal, so you might have to sit with some random people.

There are two mandatory places to visit on Rainey Street and this is one of them. Over 100 beers on tap. An extensive menu with sausages you've never heard of. Plenty of inside seating. For the nice (and maybe not so nice) days there's a huge garden area with plenty of picnic tables for eating and drinking. There's good, upbeat and happy service whether you eat in or out.

Rainey Street + great beer + house made sausages = the amazing Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden. If I'm on Rainey (which I love) there is a strong chance this is one of my stops. It is a great outdoor beer garden with a great selection of local and hard to find beers. If you're here during the day I recommend trying the fried chicken sausage and splitting an order of cheese curds for your table. The late night menu is very unique with combination worth trying like the gummy bear brat and the sausage wrapped in bacon that uses a pancake as a bun.

Food was not up to what I was expecting from the amount of people around on a Sunday morning (very long line). I ordered spicy sausage and it was mild, at best. Biscuit tasted like something out of a can. My wife ordered a mild sausage and it was loaded with very spicy mustard. (I think someone may have emessed up in the kitchen). I'd be willing to give them another shot. The food was not bad; just not great... I was a bit put off by the ashtrays all over the place, as well. Had someone started smoking, we would have been forced to leave before finishing our food (Just and FYI guys, there is never an excuse to allow smoking in your business/home).
