As our name implies we are primarily a sausage house & beer garden. We have the largest tap system (104) in Austin and the largest sausage selection (30) of any restaurant in the state.

Abundant sausages & beers on tap inside a rustic-chic cottage or outside in the leafy beer garden.- Google
"Great beer selection of course, but the fig bacon duck sausage is my favorite."
"There's live music during Sunday brunch too."

Great selection of beers on tap. The sausages are yummy. They have vegetarian and vegan options, highly recommend. The staff is hit and miss. I find sitting at the bar you get better service. They have nice long picnic tables to sit at outside. Lots of seating both indoors and out.

If you like bratwurst topped with exotic and experimental flavors served alongside a very long list of beers, this is your place. Banger's certainly has become a beacon for group gatherings with everyone coming here as they start their night on Ramsey Street and for good reason. The bar is inside the house with many long farm tables for parties to share, but their outside backyard is where most of the action occurs. With a small stage for live music, this backyard is filled with extra long picnic tables where you'll sit with friends among strangers along a doggy play pen. This is Austin after all, so of course you should expect an outdoor patio to be dog friendly. The wait here for food and drinks are what you expect from a bar scene as Banger's is basically a house bar. When you do happen to order (the waitstaff would always prefer placing in the order all at once) you should try out either their Dak Bulgogi if you like spicy and sweet Korean food, their duck, bacon, & fig if you like a lean and flavorful brat with just a slight sweetness from the cooked figs, or their antelope and venison brat if you're looking for something more gamey. Whichever you decide with, you should also consider their poutine for the side as one brat surely won't be enough for a meal.

My husband and I found this place we were exploring Rainey st for the first time and we do not regret coming here! 104 beers and so many delicious foods! If you're overwhelmed by the beer selection and want to try something new try the beer bingo! It's some sort of Russian roulette bingo game where they spin a wheel, pull out a ball with a # on it and the number will match up with a beer # they have on the wall. It's a chance for you to try something new. We've tried: 1) the jalapeno cheddar bratwurst: The bratwurst was good but the bun was huge and kinda made it hard to eat. 2) the currywurst: My favorite and is a must try! The curryflavored sausage + fries are the best. Plus the bratwurst is all cut up so that you could eat it slowly with your beer. 3) the duck bacon and fig: Again, bratwurst is so so good but the bun makes it hard to eat. 4) the snickers ice cream pot: OMG you must try. We went town on this small pot of ice cream and I'm pretty sure you will too. The only things that could bother you can be: - Parking. You know how it is! (But if you live near the boardwalk like me, it's a 30 minute walk to rainey st and you can drink however much beer you want!) - The wait. This place is popular so if you want a seat you'll just have to wait. - The tables are communal, so you might have to sit with some random people.

Literally 100s of beers on draught. On the weekends you can find a band on the patio. They offer a menu based around sausages and craft beer libations. Large picnic tables lets you feel like you're among friends.

This place is great but always so crowded! When I got o a biergarden, I want to relax at a picnic table, drink copious amounts of beer, and not feel rushed. They have the former two down...I guess it's a good thing for them though to be so popular! The service has usually been pretty good and the beer selection and meats are great. A good location but just come early!

Bangers has a great beer selection. I also appreciate that they group their beers by type. Love the "Category Busters" category. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

There are two mandatory places to visit on Rainey Street and this is one of them. Over 100 beers on tap. An extensive menu with sausages you've never heard of. Plenty of inside seating. For the nice (and maybe not so nice) days there's a huge garden area with plenty of picnic tables for eating and drinking. There's good, upbeat and happy service whether you eat in or out.

If you like beer, there are two places you should visit on Rainey Street: Craft Pride and Banger's. Only the latter has the added benefit of having an extensive offering of delicious, delicious sausages. The Bockwurst is a particular favorite of mine although it is always a difficult choice. And those chili cheese fries are an absolute must. Just be careful though, repeatedly ordering more fries can quickly rack up quite the bill. But back to the beer! What a glorious wall of taps with every kind of brew imaginable! Feeling overwhelmed? Just ask the bartenders, they're more than willing to help steer you to a suitable drink. The outdoor patio is wonderful when the weather is nice in Austin. The ground is usually quite dusty so be careful wearing your nice shoes unless you want to clean them.
