I found this dealership through the Costco auto program. I had initially seen their less than stellar rating on Yelp and was hesitant to work with them, but they were 2-stars overall and I really wanted a Honda so I went for it. My mistake. They tried to add in extra stuff like lo-jack, extended warranty, etc. The guy in finance said it was all optional, but I had to catch it before I signed. That was the first thing wrong they did. They then neglected to send off paperwork to my cosigner, so my cosigner had to come in with me a week later to sign because they can't figure out how to ship off paperwork. Some woman in finance called my cosigner beforehand, no not me just my cosigner, to say that they had lost money on this deal and they weren't sure it would go through. My cosigner said the contracts were signed, and the woman in finance backed off. The cherry on top was when I came to pick the car up. They obviously waited until the last minute to "detail" it (aka wipe it down and take it through a car wash) which took around 3 hours of us just sitting there. Finally, I got in my car hoping to just be done with the whole experience...and the gas was almost empty. Isn't it standar to fill up the tank? I feel like a 0 or 1-star rating is harsh, as I did get a good deal, but I think Yelp got it right-- this is a very 2-star (out of 5) dealership. Very disappointed. :(

Just bought a car and was very satisfied. Sales and finance employees were pleasant, respectful and did not pressure.

Horrible customer service. Unprofessional and not knowledgeable at all. We worked with three different sales reps and never had a consistent rep. The rep that helped us the most actually picked up his phone while describing features of the car. They are not trustworthy and offer prices based on how you look.

I loved the car that was purchased here, it's been great. However, the warranty service left something to be desired. I came in with a problem while under warranty, they "found no problems" and did not take notes of my complaint. The problem got worse, so I returned, but my warranty happened to run out. It just so happens on the return visit they were able to diagnose exactly what was wrong with minimal effort. But, since they had no notes of the original visit, we could not prove we had come in earlier, and we are stuck paying the repairs.

Gave me the worst customer service ever. i was only getting an oil change which should take half an hour at most but i had to wait over an hour for no reason. my car was sitting outside for a good 45minutes and i asked the advisor if i could pay for the oil change and leave but instead told me to wait in the waiting area. sat there for like an hour and finally someone came to me and said the oil change was done. never coming back to this honda dealer again. HONDA IN EL CERRITO HAS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! PLEASE DONT GO IN THIS HONDA DEALERSHIP!

terrible. After stopping in to set an appointment I was told none was necessary for an oil change. I went back the next day and was greeted one. After a few minute wait in the service lane I went insideand was greeted one. After a few minutes of standing in the midst of several "service" advisers who were on the phone or doing paperwork I was directed by a mechanic to a desk that had its back to me. When I walked up the occupant said "What?" I said that I wanted an oil change. He said let me finish what I am doing first. I said fine and left. WOW Rude and totally unhelpful. I have an appointment at Vallejo Honda later today.

Bought a used nissan from them recently. A ton of pressure during the buying process, but naive as I was I bought it, literally. The car was not even cleaned properly when I picked it up, there was literally trash inside, despite their claim of double and triple cleaning. Ash and cigarette butts as well. Gross! To top that off, I just took it into nissan and had to drop over 1000 because concord honda had not given it the maintenance it needed. This place makes car dealerships look just as slimy as they are portrayed in the movies. Don't go here! Sneaky clean-cut guys will run away with your hard-earned money without looking back.

Poor service department. They are incompetent and one of the service clerks is straight rude. They would not offer me a rental vehicle when they took away my Mini-van and would not offer me a ride home. They did some work on my Odyssey that, when taken to another Honda dealer, was noted as an inappropriate solution to the problem, in fact exacerbating the problem.
