Remember those in prison as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. (Hebrews 13:3)

I know people who exchanged wedding vows in this congregation and we have been praying for the Early Rain Church for a few years, so this persecution seems so very close to me.

May God bless all suffering believers everywhere. Amen.

Anthony Van Leeuwenhoek, one of the most inspiring scientists of the past, is discussed in this article.

For a fascinating biography and discussion, read Clifford Dobell's Antony van Leeuwenhoek and his Little animals (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2226425193) or visit the website Lens on Leeuwenhoek ( http://www.lensonleeuwenhoek.net/).

This Thursday is Ascension Day. Although it is not commercialized like Christmas or Easter, or even remembered like Good Friday, it is a day worth celebrating, both for what it means now and in anticipation of Jesus’ return.

I just listened to “Being a Woman of the Word” by Nancy Campbell. It is probably the most important talk I have heard in years, and I encourage you to drop everything to listen to it!

It is available at least until Sunday morning, maybe Monday morning.

For just one or two days, this talk by Nancy Campbell on Being a Woman of the Word will be live at this link.
I can't recommend it highly enough. It's the best talk I have heard in years. In fact, it's worth dropping almost everything else for.

Unstuffed by Ruth Soukup is an easy read, full of helpful information. It has countless checklists, not only about how to get rid of stuff, but also about how to neaten, prioritize, plan, organize, and make wise decisions. It also discusses authentic friendship, wellness, and how God has cleaned up our mess.
