If you wish to teach your children the Heidelberg Catechism this year, Rev. Van Delden has an excellent teacher's guide, available free here. The Heidelberg Catechism is a 'road map' to the Bible and its theme is comfort.

Looking at this book again a year and a half later:
Yes, Leonard Sax's top 3 parenting tips are incredibly valuable: Teach your kids humility, enjoy them, and teach them the meaning of life. If we do those three things, which our society fails dismally at, our children and teens will do much better.
