Thank you for sharing the e-NABLE Story +WebMD !

We are getting close to having made nearly 1000 FREE 3D printed hands/arms for children and adults in need all over the world - made possible by our growing Google+ group of volunteers (over 4000 of them now!), students, families, designers, artists, retired folks, engineers, scouts troops, robotics students, and so many more!

This is so wonderful! Look at that little girl smile!

Our volunteers are constantly going out of their way to make these hands even more special! I love that more and more schools are using e-NABLE devices in their classrooms to teach their students about the technology and give them a real life application to see it in use!

Calling all Makers! We are in need of volunteers in Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Brazil, Haiti, Africa, Argentina, Chile...ok ...pretty much anywhere you don't see a marker on the map!

If you have a 3D printer, are part of an educational institution that has access to printers, run a non profit that has a 3D printer etc and are in some of the underserved areas of our world - and you would like to help make hands for people in need in your area - we can sure use your help!

Please add yourselves to our map of volunteers and then fill out our intake form to get into the system to get matched with one of the many people on our wait list.

Form: http://goo.gl/lW1uX6

Thank you!

Map: (Click the + button in the upper right corner and enter your location and info and our volunteers will approve your marker and get it on the map as soon as possible!)

Just register as a fabricator. Looking forward to start making hands for the world :)

Neat!

It would be cool to devise an irregularly shaped top that revealed a regular silhouette when spun.

Someday e-NABLE should  work on 3D printed hands and arms with optimal weight-balancing.

a global distributed pay-it-forward network for design, customization, and fabrication of assistive technologies
Introduction
This is a public "brand page" for the publicly findable but private e-NABLE G+ community seeking to develop a distributed pay-it-forward network for design, customization, and fabrication of 3D-printed assistive technologies.

For more information, see http://goo.gl/1a4pb

A few messages from there will be reshared to this brand page.  But the real action happens there.
