Emily Maher joined 40/29 News as a Reporter in November 2012. You can see her on 40/29 News at 5, 6 and 10 or on the Arkansas CW at 9.
Prior to joining 40/29, Emily interned with several television stations in Central New York and in her hometown of Providence, Rhode Island. Emily also had the opportunity to work as a reporter for the Radio, Television and Digital News Association at their annual conference in New Orleans, LA. With a passion for political reporting, Emily covered campaigns while living in Syracuse, NY for Democracywise, a local political website.
Emily is a proud graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where she graduated with degrees in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and Political Science. She got her start in journalism reporting for the University’s television station and student newspaper.
