Michael Guderyon is in Dr. Senlin Li’s lab working on research to improve bone marrow transplant methods using stem cells.

“The idea of living longer---and the chance to make a difference in the world was intriguing to me,” he said. “People are already working on curing diseases but if I could help extend lifespan; that would expand the healthy years of someone’s life and extend the number of years before people would be diagnosed with a disease.”

Hope y'all are doing well and enjoying the fall semester so far! We, Samantha Yee, Neema Bassiri and Mustafa Mithaiwala are your 2017-2018 Student Government Association (SGA) reps for the GSBS. The SGA is the voice of the students from different schools and we are here to listen and serve your needs.
The SGA meets the first Thursday of every month to discuss multiple issues that concern all schools like parking, campus safety, campus food options, gym facilities etc. Additionally, all students are welcome to attend the meeting which is held in 409L-Medical Building, 5.30 pm 1st Thursday of every month.
If y'all have any concerns like problems with parking, or student counseling center, or dark alleys on campus making you feel unsafe please feel free to contact one of us(Samantha Yee, Nema Bassiri, Mustafa Mithaiwala.
We are here to serve you and ensure that your experience here consists of a fun, positive, and safe learning environment.
