It has no concept of read/unread, the displayed content shifts almost at random, it has a layout that actively opposes dense reading, it can only directly handle expressly imported content, it rarely has full-form content imported, it lacks any kind of feed[list] import export tool, much less migration, AND google has blown their credibility as a content aggregator.

At best, it's a shitty replacement for the Reader shared items feature, and because it isn't very good at that, if I see a nice self-hosted replacement for that which can integrate with Wordpress and TTRSS, I'll just flip the relation, use one of the plus-stream-to-rss-feed tools, and be done with G+ except as a feed source.
