Story
Introduction
In 2000 I became a Kona coffee farmer.  Other coffee farmers and the University of Hawaii extension service taught me how to grow this world-famous crop.  I love living on 8.9 acres of coffee trees and native Hawaiian forest.

Living on a farm made it possible to pursue another dream -- to raise large, purebred dogs.  I started with Labrador retrievers nearly 10 years ago and added standard Poodles in 2010.  I adore my dogs.  Wanting the best for them, I researched diets and found, to my dismay, that the pet food industry is poisoning the world's pets.  Cats and dogs are carnivores that do not thrive on high-starch, commercial pet food.

As a dog breeder for nearly 10 years, I have tried kibble, BARF and Raw-Meaty-Bones diets with my dogs and puppies. I am a passionate advocate of feeding carnivorous cats and dogs diets of raw-meaty-bones.  To foster raw feeding in Kona, I founded the Kona Raw Pet Food Cooperative that is growing weekly.

Before retiring to breed Labs and to grow Kona coffee in Hawaii, I was Commonwealth Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia and an award winning researcher in behavioral genetics and developmental psychology. You can find my biography in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Technology, and in Wikipedia.

I ship Kona coffee from my farm in Hawaii to buyers on the mainland. One of my loyal customers lives in Goleta and receives his mail from this post office. The latest Priority Mail package was supposed to be delivered on 2/9/2015. According to online Tracking information, the package went out for delivery on 2/9/2015 at 8:21 AM, but it was actually not delivered to the customer until 2/12/2015. This is terrible service at the local post office.
