Upcoming free webinar E-Cigs Demistified: Science & Regulations
Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern
Link to register: http://ecigwebinar.com/
From the organizers:
The year 2015 was a big year for e-cig regulations with state and local governments passing their own laws and restrictions while awaiting the final ruling of the FDA’s Deeming Regulations due out this spring. There is still quite a bit uncertainty regarding how the Deeming Regulations may affect the vaping industry, specifically regarding the proposed grandfather date that would require all e-cig products on the market after the set date of February 15, 2007 to go through the FDA’s pre-market application approval process, which could potentially shutdown 95% of the industry.
The next webinar will be featuring Scott Ballin, Public Health Consultant, who has been involved with issues related to public health for the last 40 years and has worked on such issues as FDA regulatory oversight, excise taxes, clean indoor air laws, tobacco agriculture reforms and most recently on tobacco and nicotine alternative products such as ENDS. Also joining us is Julie Woessner, Executive Director of the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association (CASAA), who has been involved in educating the public and increasing awareness about the benefits of harm reduction alternatives to smoking since 2009. Scott and Julie will be shedding some light on the politics and science of electronic cigarettes and will provide vital information on what both businesses and consumers can do to help voice their opinions and protect their right to vape.
There is no cost to attend this webinar series as it is intended for educational purposes to inform vapers of all varieties on the latest in e-cig news and regulations. We hope there will be something for everyone, from the serious mod hobbyist to the casual cig-a-like user to the brick-and-mortar vape shop owner.

Hawaii - Call to Action!

Take action today to oppose a yet-to-be-determined per milliliter tax on vapor products. A similar bill that was proposed last year would have enacted an 80% excise tax on vapor products!
