Today Anthony is sharing a recipe for a cocktail he created called The Red-Throated Loon (and the story behind it). It's a perfectly refreshing combination of gin and grapefruit balanced by the sweetness of St. Germain and the bitterness of Campari. We've made it at least a dozen times since April - I guess you could say it's our new favorite! http://threemanycooks.com/conversations/the-red-throated-loon/  #summerdrink   #mixology   #happyhour   #recipe

This Curried Coconut Soup with Spinach and Peas is hearty, filling, and so full of flavor. We made a double recipe and enjoyed it for dinner with some naan bread and the next day for lunch. http://threemanycooks.com/recipes/strictly-vegetarian/curried-coconut-soup-with-spinach-and-peas/ #vegetarianrecipe   #recipe #curry #souprecipe

Today on the blog we've got a recipe for Raspberry-Lemon Curd Muffins. This is Mom's classic muffin recipe lightened up with new flavors and the result is "get-in-ma-belly" good. http://threemanycooks.com/recipes/morning-food/raspberry-lemon-curd-muffins/ #muffins   #recipeoftheday   #recipesharing

Sharon's husband Anthony delivers another delicious and creative cocktail for your weekend drinking pleasure. The Mexihattan, a smoky, spicy spin on the classic Manhattan, inspired by a pilgrimage to one of Chicago's best cocktail bars: The Violet Hour. You can buy the book here: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or on IndieBound. As we crossed into 2015, we knew three things were sure to happen—Maggy’s baby would be born, our mother/grandmother would die, and our book—Three Many Cooks: One Mom, Two Daughters, Their Shared Story of Food, Faith, and Family—would be published. You're welcome +In a Southern Kitchen! The original has more beef and is topped with mashed potatoes. Give the cauliflower a try I think you'll be pleasantly surprised but you can always do a half cauliflower half mashed potatoes version too.

One Mom, Two Daughters, Three Kitchens
Introduction
The three of us have always had this incredibly strong (though not always smooth) relationship. Each of us is sassy, independent, opinionated, and verbose. We like to drink, we love to cook, and we couldn’t get through the day without talking to each other. Whenever people come over, they get swept up in the passionate, hilarious back-and-forth while they get their whistles wet and their bellies filled. Our blog has been our way of letting the world in our rollicking good time.
